Axe-threat headteachers to meet county education officials

Headteachers at under-threat schools in Shropshire are today due to meet coun-ty education officials for a briefing before their fate is revealed later this week.
Education officials at Shirehall said the meeting was the latest to be held for schools earmarked for closure.
Primary school heads were due to attend today’s meeting for schools which will have their fate decided at a meeting of Shropshire Council’s cabinet on July 20.
