Cash 4 Our Schools
Cash 4 Our Schools
All the Cash 4 Our Schools tokens have been published and the deadline has passed for submitting the formal notification of the total number of points collected.
Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign, the response has been overwhelming. Ultimately 123 schools returned their forms which show they collected tokens worth a staggering 97,591,830 points! This fantastic achievement reflects the huge effort undertaken not only by pupils and teachers, but by parents, neighbours and different individuals in the local communities.
Having double checked the information on the notification forms sent in by the official deadline of 5pm on July 7, 2010, the top 15 schools collecting the most points pro-rata to their number of pupils have been confirmed and notified of their achievement.
Over the next week their tokens will be collected and brought into the Shropshire Star’s head office at Ketley for auditing purposes. This will take place over the school holidays.
At the start of the autumn term the 15 finalists will be invited to send along a number of school representatives to a presentation event, which is when the runners-up and winner will be announced and they will receive their cheques.
