Paddock land nears £12,000/acre at auction

A block of paddock land at Conwy sold for nearly £12,000 an acre at auction at Denbigh recently.

The 7.6 acres (3.07 hectares) parcel on the outskirts of Conwy, went under the hammer for £90,000 (£11,842 per acre).

At their May auction Davis Meade Property Consultants in conjunction with Clough & Co sold a smallholding and river meadow. The dilapidated farmhouse Hendy Gors, Rhiw, Groes and 5.11 Acres made £140,000. An upland parcel of land near Bwlch made £3650 per acre while 28.40 acres of river meadow at Bonwm Land , Corwen was sold for £6655 per acre.
