Massey Ferguson Offer to Take Harvester Market by Storm with New Combine Additions
Monday 22nd August 2011, 4:57PM BST.
Massey Ferguson has shown its intention to make a big impact in the combine harvester market by releasing a slew of new combine harvesters to strengthen their current ranges.
In the Activa series, Massey Ferguson have announced the addition of the 5 straw walker Activa 7345S and six straw walker 7347S. Both models are powered by a SISU Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) engine producing 243hp & 276hp while still improving fuel efficiency and cutting emissions.
These Activa models are aimed at medium to large operation arable farmers and provide new technology, extra comfort and ease of operation from a straightforward design. The Activa 7300S combine harvester is available with choice of Power flow (great in OSR) and Hi-inertia header options.
The Massey Ferguson Beta range also sees two new additions to the range with the five straw walker, 276hp MF7360 Beta and the six straw walker, 360hp MF7370 Beta. Both models have 9,000 litre grain tanks and run off exceptionally economical SCR engines. These new Beta models also have the option of Para level auto levelling, allow these machines to combine perfectly on all but the toughest slopes.
The Massey Ferguson Beta range of combine harvesters is powered through hydrostatic drive, making these machines exceptionally easy to drive and helping to increase harvest efficiency. As with the Activa series these new additions to the Beta range can be fitted with the Power flow or Hi-inertia headers.
The MF Centora and MF Delta ranges will receive upgrades for the 2012 season. The Centora will now be powered with a generation 2 SCR engine with Diesel Oxidation Catalyser (DOC) designed to further reduce emissions and comply with the next stage of European legislations. The addition of DOC again enhances fuel efficiency and power output. The Centora will also receive a high performance concave with wider opening for maximum grain removal and excellent sample.
Both the Delta and Centora combine harvesters will be fitted with a new axle to reduce the turning circle to 5.5 metres. The award winning Delta range will now have a series of service upgrades to give operators better access for day to day operations.
With these changes Massey Ferguson are showing arable farmers that they have award winning combine harvesters to be taken seriously, providing efficiency, productivity and economy in stylish machines.
