Peacocks’ Whitchurch store will create jobs

A national fashion retailer is opening a store in Whitchurch in a move which could create up to 10 jobs.
Peacocks has confirmed it is moving into a site which is rumoured to be the former World of Wicker store in Green End.
The news comes just a month after the discount chain opened a shop in Market Drayton.
The scheme created a mix of 10 full and part-time jobs and it is expected to be a similar story at Whitchurch.
It is not yet known when the new store will open.
