Speedy opening for Market Drayton fuel depot
Thursday 3rd June 2010, 11:00AM BST.
A £750,000 fuel depot, which is set to create 20 jobs, has opened in Market Drayton just two months after planning permission was granted.
Three 100,000-litre fuel tanks have been lifted on to the site on Maer Lane Industrial Estate in Llewellyn Roberts Way after Shropshire Council gave Rix Petroleum the go-ahead in April.
Seven jobs have been created and further recruitment will be taking place over the coming weeks as the operation gets into full swing, with a total of 20 jobs likely to be created by the oil distribution business.
