An ex-Big Brother housemate writes…

Former Big Brother contestant Freddie Fisher gives his opinions ahead of tonight’s evictions.
In my opinion, none of the three housemates up for eviction have come across as particularly likeable so far. But while Shabby and Sunshine are two of the most interesting characters this year, Rachel is unlikely to add as much to the show as a whole.
Of the three, Shabby has annoyed me the least. She is emerging as leader of the bitchy group, so I may start disliking her later. But she’s clearly an nuanced character and a sophisticated social animal; she is certain to make a very interesting HM. Imagine how boring last year would have been if Lisa had gone out in week 1.
Sunshine’s whining and superior tone have definitely grated at times. But she’s clearly intelligent, and probably open-minded and is currently the housemate with the most potential for learning some very profound life lessons and becoming very likable. And if she doesn’t, she’ll carry on irritating the other housemates. Either way, she’s sure to be a very entertaining.
Rachel is my second least favourite person in the house – I would have nominated her alongside Govan. Pretty girls that are arrogant purely because of their looks irritate me. She can also be a bitch and a moron. I find her sudden post-nomination search from romance storylines a bit desperate. I think she’s probably a one-dimensional wannabe who won’t add much to the house. She’s got my vote.
On an more positive note, John-James has been rapidly going up in my estimation. At first I thought he was kind of thick. Then I thought he was thick, but funny. Now I’m loving his insights into people and situations, and his honesty expressing them. He seems to have his head screwed on better than most, and his Aussie common sense is a great influence on the house dynamic.
