Members of a Shropshire rugby club played to a crowd of thousands in a “once in a lifetime” game at Twickenham.

Players from Highley Rugby Club played the game of their lives at the home of English rugby on Saturday.

The club, which was only formed 18 months ago, put out two teams - the Miners and the Colliers.

The Edgeley Park under-17s claimed the North Midlands Cup while, not to be outdone, there was Plate victory for Whitchurch’s under-14s on a memorable day for the club at Luctonians’ Mortimer Park ground.
