The app’s page turning technology allows readers to view Shropshire and Mid Wales’ favourite paper as it appears on the printed page but with the state of the art benefits of using a handheld device.
Once the app is downloaded from iTunes, iPad and iPhone users can flick through the pages of the most recent electronic edition of the paper using the latest PageSuite technology.
Within minutes readers get a pixel perfect replica of the newspaper to view even when offline.
Subscribing to the newspaper via the iPad app costs £1.49 per week or £3.99 per month.
The first week of access to digital downloads is FREE, giving customers seven days to read news, sport and opinion before they commit.
Features include:
• The archive lets readers view recent back issues or select specific pages to jump through editions.
• Scrolling technology allows you to flick through the pages, zoom in and out or turn the device to view a double page spread.
• A smart search facility means readers can use keywords to find the story they want either from the latest edition or the papers in their archive.
• Users can save pages to their device, share with friends on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, or send articles via email.
The app is also free to download for iPhone users, with the same charging structure as the iPad.
It boasts the same functionality, allowing readers to use the phone handset to keep up to date with their favourite evening newspaper.
