Shropshirestar.com publishes only a small amount of the hundreds of news stories which appear in the eight editions of the Shropshire Star every day. If you are looking for a recent story on a particular subject, type in the key words (i.e. jobs, Telford) into the search box in the corner of the page.
We also have touchscreen facility at our Ketley reception. This dates back to February 2006 and is free to use during office hours, when you can browse the editions electronically.
If this is unsuccessful we have an internal computerized database which archives most stories covering the past 15 years, although this is not accessible to the public and we may be able to search on your behalf.
If your inquiry involves a story from before that time we need an exact date as it means having to physically search through binders of old papers.

If you know the exact date and edition of a paper you require, back copies from up to six months can be purchased through subscriptions on 01952 24 24 24.
