Archive copies of the Shropshire Star publishes only a select number of articles which appear in the four editions of the Shropshire Star every day.

If you are looking for a recent story on a particular subject, try using the search box in the top right corner of the site.

We also have a touchscreen facility in the reception of our Ketley office. This dates back to February 2006 and is free to use during office hours, when you can browse the editions electronically.

If this is unsuccessful, you may want to search an old edition of the newspaper to find the printed story.

We do not have the facility for readers to view old newspaper editions online and the Shropshire Star does not run an archive library service.

Anyone looking to research an old edition of the newspaper should contact the Shropshire Archives for further assistance.

If you know the exact date and edition of a paper you require, back copies of the Shropshire Star from up to six months can be purchased through our subscriptions department on 01952 242424.
