Nat, a student at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College, has long held ambitions to make it in the modelling world and is hopeful that the Face of the Future title could help him to do just that.

At the moment he is concentrating on his studies but felt the competition was the ideal way to get a taste of what it would be like to take part in modelling and promotional work.

And the chance to get dressed up was almost too much of a temptation to resist – even though he ended up teaming his dinner-jacket with trainers on the day itself.

Well it’s a look that’s worked for Sir Paul McCartney so why not for Nat.

“I really enjoyed the day and finding out what it’s like to work on a busy shoot,” said Nat.

“I would like to get into modelling and there are not that many opportunities in Shropshire to see what it could be like.

“I do look after myself and I think it’s important for your self-confidence to have a good self-image. The photoshoot was great for that and it was fun talking to other people about what they wanted to do.

“I think winning Face of the Future would be a great opportunity for me.”

Hair: Inspired by the ’50s comeback in men’s hair, this haircut is shorter at the neck and around the ears. The top has been left longer for a more versatile look that can be worn sleek or more textured.
