The search for Face of Future 2010 has almost reached its climax as we reveal the line-up of finalists bidding for the title.

After a search that reached the far corners of Shropshire and Mid Wales, more than 100 entries flooded in from people hoping to clinch the title.

The judging was an extremely difficult task for the panel: Shropshire Star women’s editor Tracey O’Sullivan, Face of the Future 2009 Jodie Lee Jones, and Jeremy Merckel and Leah Roberts from Telford Shopping Centre, which struggled to whittle down the entries to five male and five female finalists.

Eventually the boys were chosen both from the pictures they submitted and their accompanying personal statement.

But the standard of entry from the girls was particularly high and eventually five finalists were chosen along with two reserves.
