Shropshire’s most famous pigs are waiting to find out their fate after the first round of Britain’s Got Talent auditions.
A DVD of three little pigs from Pigs in Clover in Cardeston, near Shrewsbury, was handed in to judges of the ITV1 talent show at the NEC in Birmingham on Thursday.
Gwen Howell, of Pigs in Clover, is now waiting to find out if the pigs have been successful in their quest for fame.
Trampolining Scarlet, a Hungarian mangalitza, and dancers Polly, a kune kune, and Arthur, a mangalitza, attracted national attention after their talent was unveiled last week.
Gwen, 46, and husband Steven, 43, were then given special dispensation to hand a DVD of their skills into show bosses instead of transporting the pigs to the arena.
A spokeswoman for Pigs in Clover said today: “They didn’t find out straight away what has happened, they are just keeping their fingers crossed at the moment.”
Scarlet took over from their prized pig Percy as the family’s resident trampolining pet when the bouncing boar got too fat.
Gwen has previously told of how Scarlet was put on a trampoline, began sniffing around and started to walk on it.
Food was then put on there and the pig “started feeling her feet” and later jumped a bit. She said the pig “loves it”.
