I’d like to echo the point above. Was this blogger really at the game? At times we controlled possession well and we did test the keeper. Cup upsets happen – it’s just unfortunate this year it happened to us. We weren’t going to win it and now we can now concentrate on the league.

Was this blogger actually at the game? Credit must go to Simpson? Why exactly? We needed an injection of something different and there was nothing on the bench! We sent for Bright and Elder – neither of who are good enough for Staines’ level of football let alone ours. Simpson then says the players weren’t good enough – yet he signed them! Yes Hooman didn’t have his best ever game but I would much rather see him in the side than a journeyman pro who cares little about the club on a higher wage.

The players should be ashamed really, not just that they were playing a team from a lower league but that they just didn’t apply themselves. The team weren’t unlucky they have let the fans and the Manager down. What will their response be?. So come on lads, lets put it behind us and move on. The next six games unbeaten should be your challenge, then the fans will see just how committed to the cause you are.
