Couples and groups rolled out their picnic blankets and brought feasts and drinks to enjoy the evening of music with. Ed Thornihill, from Shrewsbury, said he and his friends had watched Jools every year he had performed in The Quarry. He said: “We bring a picnic and lots of wine. This year it’s fine weather but last year it was like Glastonbury.”

Yes they ‘flocked’…but let’s be honest they’re ‘flocking’ now to Jools in ever decreasing numbers…and yes I WAS there despite the cold.
