Thousands of people brought their picnics and friends to a night of musical entertainment by boogie woogie star Jools Holland in Shrewsbury. The rhythm and blues star along with his 18-piece band, returned to the county for the sixth time and saw more than 3,000 revellers enjoying the music.

Yes they ‘flocked’…but let’s be honest they’re ‘flocking’ now to Jools in ever decreasing numbers…and yes I WAS there despite the cold.
