The caption said the trip was organised by the Community Council of Shropshire, Shropshire Committee Against Racialism, and Community Service Volunteer Mark Goyder.

I was interested in the picture in wednesdays star pictures from the past re the alms houses high ercall as i am the youth on the right of the shot the person in the centre is my mother mrs gears who was warden then sadly now deceased we lived there from 1956 until 1963 i was 15 years old then and had left school about two months earlier thanks for the memories
