Kenneth Lövgren visited Shrewsbury back in 1983 during an inter-railing visit.
“I ended up in Shrewsbury and fell in love with the city,” says Mr Lövgren, who lives near Gothenburg.
The following year he returned to Shrewsbury and visited the club once more. “The fine reception the club, players, Chic Bates and Derek Mann gave me made sure that Town became my team in the UK and has been ever since.”
As for Wembley Mr Lövgren says: “The Scandinavian Shrews are giving our hopes for the best.
“We are keeping our fingers crossed and we will be watching the game in a pub in Stockholm.”
