This is the latest in a series of sightings of UFOs in the skies over Shropshire which was captured on camera by Bridgnorth school girl Harriet Rogers.
Thirteen-year-old Harriet filmed about seven minutes-worth of footage with the help of her dad on February 21.
The pair were amazed to see the light and spent about 20 minutes watching the bizarre lights. It was still there when they stopped recording, Harriet said.
“My grandmother telephoned telling us about a light in the sky; we went upstairs and had a look.
“What my dad and I saw was a light much brighter compared to the stars.
“At first, we thought it was a helicopter but then my dad went outside but could not hear any rotary blades.
“That’s when we started getting suspicious, so I got the camcorder out.
“To the human eye, it just looked like a bright light but, on the cam-recorder we could see it pulsing, then suddenly changing colours. It was low in the sky, the bright light on the first part of the recording is a street light,” said Harriet.
The pair decided to go out and follow the light along the Craven Arms Road to try get a bit closer and they started to notice it was going down beyond the horizon.
She added: “This is when you could see with your own eyes that it was pulsing and changing colours.
“We stopped in a lay-by and rested the camcorder on a gate post where we got the best shots. We could see how it was getting much brighter than before.”
This isn’t the only time that we have seen it, we have seen about two other separate occasions, all roughly in the same direction but not the exact place.
Harriet is not the only one to have spotted strange lights over Shropshire in the last few months.
There have been up to 30 sightings of mysterious spheres of light logged by UFO experts in the last two months with at least eight recorded in the last fortnight.

I saw one too! Diamond shaped. It landed and had some lettering on it. It read ‘TAN-ZAN-I-A’ on the side and two little green aliens came out and said ‘Show us your investment portfolio..we need a good laugh’

I see it everynight more or less, some times it’s half sometimes it’s full. We allegedly landed on it in 1969.

The reason it appears to be pulsing is because the camera is probably in auto focus mode and the system is trying to lock onto a subject but can’t. The chances are this is also causing the different colours due to the change in light refraction. That’s why it appears on the video but wasn’t observed on the night.
Other than that it could be anything.

‘A ufologist’ Hmmmmm… I wonder what qualifies a person to declare themselves as a ‘ufologist’?
Still, I’d be extremely interested to understand what we can glean from the colours. I expect Maplins could help with that too.

Staring at the moon so hard, they appear to have missed the ‘mysterious light’ that actually crosses the sky on their footage at 06:34 on the timer. Now what could that be????

If you look carefully you can see the shape of a person and it looks as if they are holding a torch. The more you look, the more you see it is someone manipulating a light. A moth flies by (not a bird!). Not fooled in the slightest. Downright fake.

Every ufologist has the work out there for other ufologist to question. Stanton Friedman work with the defense department. The last director Of MUFON worked for NASA. Wood worked for GM and many large labs. MajorKeyhole was a pilot.Each one of these work many decades in research in this subject, which is ignored but won’t go away.

Our site uk-ufo.co.uk receives on average receives 4 UK UFO sightings per day direct from the uk public. Although many can be explained away as natural phenomenon e.g chinese lanterns ,there are many which cannot.

As a couple of you have pointed out, it looks like the moon. Although the edge of a roof doesn’t come into view too often, it always seems to be maintaining the same distance from it when the roof does show, and scattered cloud appears to be scudding over it.

I agree with Victoria,it looks like a person. just at around 3.35-3.25 you can see the shadow of a person and the light jumping…looks like they swapped the hand that the torch was in…i really wanted this to be real ahh well

Its a hoax. You can see the outline of someone behind moving the light about. You can clearly see his face to the left and both hands.

This could possibly be Venus making her closer to earth appearance. The colours are dust particles in the atmosphere. It is a regular occurrence here in Scotland and has been like this for a number of years.
