Members of the Fron Male Voice Choir are celebrating combined album sales of one million.
The choir will be receiving a presentation from record bosses after sales of their three CDs – Voices of the Valley, Voices of the Valley Encore and Voices of the Valley: Home – reached the landmark figure.
Members will be presented with an award from bosses at their record label Universal Classic and Jazz on stage at their St David’s Day Concert at Wrexham’s William Aston Hall on Sunday.
David Jones, choir spokesman, said members were delighted their sales had reached the prized one million figure.
He said: “It is a great achievement and has taken a lot of hard work by everyone involved in the choir. We are delighted so many people enjoy the music.”
The choir has already signed a contract for a fourth album, which will be called Voices of the Valley – Down Memory Lane.
The album will be recorded in Oswestry’s Forge studios.
