What’s the best film you’ve seen at Shropshire cinemas this year? And how about the worst?
Today we launch the Shropshire Star’s 2008 movie awards . . . voted for by our readers.
We want you to tell us the best film you reckon you’ve seen at the flicks this year, and why.
And Christmas isn’t the same without a good turkey, so we want you to tell us about the biggest waste of money too.
Everyone who takes part will be entered into a draw to win a fabulous sack of movie memorabilia from the year’s big cinema releases – so what have you got to lose?
To make your nomination (and you can nominate as many films as you wish), e-mail starfeatures@shropshirestar.co.uk or write to Shropshire Film Awards, Features Desk, Shropshire Star, Ketley, Telford TF1 5HU.
Shropshire Star film critic Carl Jones has his own ideas . . . check out his video review of the year to see if you agree.

I can’t decide between Into the wild and The dark knight for best film.
The worst without a doubt is Ironman. Truely awful film.
