AFC Telford United snatched a spot amongst the Blue Square North front-runners with a 1-0 win over leaders Southport at the New Bucks Head.

Rob Smith’s men extended their unbeaten run to ten games, thanks to a second-half goal from Andy Brown.

The victory also means Telford are now just a few points adrift of new leaders Tamworth.
