Two men tried to rob a 12-year-old Telford boy as he walked home from school.
The pair ordered him to give them his mobile phone as he walked along Silkin Way, Randlay, and then assaulted him when they discovered he didn’t have one.
The attackers were aged about 18 and wore hooded tops, scarves across their faces, jackets and dark trousers.
Police want to speak to a cyclist who rode past just before the attack at 5pm on Monday.
