Moreton’s terrific twos

Second best? No way! Moreton Hall’s second team won the North Schools lacrosse tournament. The Oswestry school’s girls starred in York, with Annabel Kempsey their main creator, returning to Shropshire unbeaten and the clear winners. And school chiefs feel there is more to come from this team, which is captained by Jo Chavasse (no 52), and that a close eye should be kept on them when they head for the national finals next March.    Moreton’s first team won six, drew once and lost twice at the tournament.
