The celebrations have started early for midfielder Jon Adams ahead of tonight’s FA Cup first round replay – with his place at Wembley already guaranteed.
Adams has come out on top in an online FA poll for the player of the first round, winning himself a VIP day for two at the final on May 30.

The former Leamington man was nominated after bagging two goals in the draw with Southend 10 days ago that set up tonight’s replay.
And enthusiastic Telford fans have voted in their droves for their man, ensuring him a landslide win.
Adams polled a total of 46 per cent of the vote, almost 16 per cent clear of his nearest challenger, Blyth Spartans’ Shaun Reay – the man whose two goals inspired the north-east outfit to a 3-1 win over Shrewsbury Town.
“It’s all much appreciated, and I want to thank everyone who’s taken the time to vote for me,” said Adams. “The fans have been superb.
“It’s great to be recognised and I thought I played well that day, not just with the goal – though the main thing is it was a great team performance.”
Manager Rob Smith, a project manager by day, also added his congratulations by declaring: “It was worth getting everyone at Network Rail to vote for him!
“I don’t think anyone deserves this more than Jon Adams.”
