The mill was originally a water mill and dates back to the 1600s and is mentioned in the Domesday book.
The maltings date back to the 1800s and is what is now the kitchen with family living room/dining room above and the mill house was built during Victorian times.
The Harrisons had renovated two properties before, but Redhill Mill was the biggest they took on.
The work included having some of the roofs redone, lowering the floor level for the kitchen (the couple found artifacts in the space that dated from 50 years ago), and converting the cellar (which had pigs in it) into the games room.
But the first job was to landscape the grounds.
