
We don’t often carry night-time photos in Pictures From The Past and, although this image is not of the best quality, it is atmospheric and records a little bit of local history.
It was loaned to us by Mr Albert Hamer, of Greenacres, Ludlow, who tells us it shows “the new replacement Clun Road railway bridge, Craven Arms.
“Photograph taken at night, approximate year 1953.” Can any reader confirm the year?
