This week’s pictures from the past

Some older Pontesbury folk may remember some of these characters. This is Pontesbury Darby and Joan Club with helpers at a party in the 1950s at the public hall.

The photo was loaned to us by Mrs Evelyn Corfield, who is from Pontesbury, but lives these days in Whittington.
