Telford Tigers star Tom Carlon could be up for a Goal of the Season award already - but does it really qualify as a goal?

After all their troubles of the summer, a glorious four-point weekend catapulted GM Telford Tigers to second in the English Premier Ice Hockey League.
The Shropshire side triumphed 5-3 over Scimitars at home on Saturday night, followed by a 4-3 win on the road against defending league champions Guildford Flames.
Player-coach Claude Dumas picked up the man of the match award in Surrey, and immediately dedicated it to his squad.
“We are playing really well as a team right now,” said Dumas. “We got the win we deserved against Guildford.”
