The Importance of Being Earnest, showing at Ludlow Assembly Rooms this weekAward-winning theatrical company Middle Ground Theatre visits Ludlow Assembly Rooms this week for an all-star production of Oscar Wilde’s timeless masterpiece.

This intricate and highly comical tale of mistaken identity is expertly brought to life by a stellar crew including The Bill’s Tom Butcher, A Touch of Frost’s David Gooderson and The Royal’s Zoie Kennedy.

Hailed by the Lancashire Evening Post as “a classic performance… the audience were in stitches!”, the story follows Londoners Jack and Algernon, who both fall in love with different women whilst using the pseudonym of Earnest - with hilarious consequenses.

Tickets are priced £18. The play is showing at 7.30pm on Monday and Tuesday, September 22 and 23, with two performances on Wednesday 24 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
