The Shropshire Star’s Sunita Patel enjoys an evening of receptions hosted by the RSPCA and NUT before signing off at the Liberal Democrat conference in Bournemouth.

A host of celebrities took part in various debates on issues such as football terraces, health, and sporting topics leading up to 2012 London Olympics.

Those than could be spotted included former Chelsea and England defender Graham Le Saux, Agony aunt Claire Raynor and sporting stars Jonathan Edwards and Darren Campbell.
