A major shake up of county primary schools continued today as formal notices indicating closures and amalgamations were being served by council officials.
The notices, issued by Shropshire County Council, included plans to build and extend school buildings as well as combining five pairs of infant and junior schools at different locations throughout the county
Final decisions are expected between November this year and early February 2009, but may be delayed depending on any decisions being referred to the schools adjudicator.
