Above: High flood water causes road chaos in Harlescott.

Trains running from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth have also been cancelled because of standing water on the track at Newtown.

    Oh Well, It’s good for the garden andat least it means that we don’t have a hose pipe ban.

    My commiserations to all people affected by these floods, after only just being able to move back to their homes and businesses, following the floods of last year. And well done to all the services, including district council and local authority workers, during this time.
