Paul Simpson is refusing to get carried away just yet by his side’s promising start to the season.

Shrewsbury Town beat Aldershot 1-0 at the weekend and although it was not a vintage performance, it’s points on the board that matter.

    Disappointed that the Star and Paul seemed negative about the performance against Aldershot. I was there and saw a great deal of positives from it and it is these positives that need to be explained to those 11 that contributed so effectively. Yes OK it wasn’t pretty but lets not forget that this is League Two football in a league that we are trying to get out of and if the lads and management can perform like this for the rest of the season then it is a legaue we can get out of. So come on Paul, Come on Shropshire Star lets start and get behind the team.
