A motorist was today being treated in hospital for serious facial injuries after his car overturned on the M54.
Police said the driver and his female passenger, both 30 and from Felixstowe, were lucky to survive yesterday’s crash at 11.20am between Junction 2 at Coven Heath and Junction 3 at Tong.
Both lanes of the motorway were closed by police leaving to massive queues and delays for drivers across the region.
