AFC Telford United were looking to continue their good start to the season at home to Blyth Spartans.

The visitors arrived in Telford following a mammoth bus journey from the north-east, but could not be discounted.

With four other sides all vying for a place amid the early Blue Square North front-runners, another win was essential for Rob Smith’s men.
