Shropshire cricket ace Dan Redfern has continued his good form for England under 19s.
The former Adams Grammar School student, who recently signed his first professional contract with Derbyshire, hit 79 not out yesterday as the second under 19s Test against New Zealand finished as a draw at Worcestershire’s New Road.
It follows his knock of 152 which helped win the first Test last week, with yesterday’s result confirming England’s series victory.
He is now in the squad for series of one-day internationals which get under way on Friday at Canterbury.
