AFC Telford United rounded off their preparations for the new season with a clash at home to League Two outfit Chester City.

The Bucks have enjoyed a successful build-up to the new campaign, although Chester provided a tough test for Rob Smith’s men.

Saturday’s opponents only avoided relegation to the Blue Square Premier on the final day of last season and will be looking to improve on that this time round.

The new Blue Square North season, for Telford, begins on Saturday with a clash at Stalybridge Celtic.
