Bowlers aiming for final

John NashGive it your all - you can make the difference. That’s the rallying call to Shropshire’s bowls followers ahead of tomorrow’s eagerly-awaited Endsleigh County Championship semi-final against Greater Manchester.

“We want as many people as possible to go to Greenfields and cheer the lads on, because it does lift them,” said selector John Nash.

“The support we had a Pontesbury for the Cheshire game was fantastic and we’d like more of the same at Greenfields.”

The Shrewsbury club have gone out of their way to get things right for tomorrow, only the changeable weather being outside of their control.

“We met the Greenfields chairman and greenkeeper and they have been marvellous, doing everything we have asked of them, and cutting the green every day,” stressed Nash.
