You are so crazy - I am a fisherman - I go to sea everyday and fight the thuderstorms when they are at their worst like in my favourite movie - Forrest Gump when Lt Dan is up the mast shouting for more - I lose some good men in the storms at sea you guys should come fishing with me I will show you real fear I was once in a storm that was so bad I nearly went down with my boat.

It was a really bad storm for THIS area. The thunder and lightening started at 5.30 and was still going strong at 12.30. The lightening didn’t let up and i haven’t seen it like that for a long time. In fact last time i was in a storm like that i was in New york

I’m sure those who experinced flooding, damage to they’re homes and loss of livestock would say it was a pretty bad storm. Also it was worse in some parts, the rain was very heavy and went on and on.

Have to agree, despite it lasting longer than usual, it was just a storm. If those are the headlines we really do not have much to worry about do we?

It was a good storm, not quite as good as the one in the summer of ‘95 if anyone can remember.

I have a phobia of Thunder and cant listen to it but I love watching storms esp Lightning. I live in Broseley and have a good view of Telford from the house, to actually track some of the lightning as it streaked across the sky was just simply amazing.
