Can you identify anyone in this picture?

Photo of a farm walk held at Mr Fred Perry’s at Ollerton House Farm in July 1958Robert Gough, of Market Drayton, loaned us this picture from 50 years ago and, although he knows many of those on it, is hoping some people can fill in the blanks.

He is the nine-year-old boy in the back row of the trailer on the left.

He tells us: “This is a photo of a farm walk held at Mr Fred Perry’s at Ollerton House Farm in July 1958, the year Mr Perry was chairman of Market Drayton NFU.

“On the three Fordson Major EIA tractors, from left, are: Phil Perry and Jim Perry (sons), Mr Albrecht and Mr Mansueto. First trailer: back row, Geoff Shropshire, Glyn Hughes, Ivor Hughes, Norman Shropshire, Jack Gough, Robert Gough. Front row: Arthur Shropshire, Fred Perry, unknown, Fred Harrison, Tom Hollins, Sam Cotterill, Ted Griffiths, Tom Perry, John Griffiths.

“Middle trailer: standing is Reg Ingham, secretary of Market Drayton NFU. Second back row: Geoff Perry, second front row, John Lea. Right trailer: Len Atkin, Vernon Taylor, Reg Perry, and Darrell Lalley.”
