MGs in the Trees 2008

The second MGs in the Trees event was held on a very windy Sunday in June, organised by the South Staffordshire and North Birmingham Branch of the MG Owners Club, writes Bob Hickman.

Read his report and see pictures from the event below.

The event was an outstanding success, with more than 150 entries from the length and breadth of the country participating.

This year the club was supporting St Giles Hospice and a large proportion of the entry fee was donated to the charity.

The event, based at the old RAF base at Hednesford, now known as the Cannock Chase visitor centre, was a hive of activity as the cars and their drivers and crew signed on and devoured the welcoming bacon rolls and coffee, while studying the two different route choices.

    Lovely.

    Shame we’re selling our MG.

We will, however, be looking forward to similar meets with the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club :-)
