Boss Rob Smith will take the full AFC Telford United squad to town neighbours Wellington Amateurs tonight - and has ruled out any more new signings.
More than 500 fans are expected at School Grove (7.30pm) in Oakengates for the fixture with the West Midlands League club, which Telford won 8-0 last year.
Smith fielded a depleted side in that one, but will have a full strength line-up available tonight - including all five summer signings.
Four of his new faces made their bows in Saturday’s 5-1 win at Stratford, but striker Andy Brown will make his first appearance having been unavailable at the weekend.
Former Kidderminster man Gavin Hurren had been training with the club, but has now started talks with Blue Square Premier clubs Crawley and Mansfield - and Smith has no plans to look for alternative targets.
“I’m not looking for anyone else now, because we’ve got enough,” he declared.
“Gary Fitzpatrick will be back tonight, and we’re targeting the Havant & Waterlooville game (on July 26) for Simon Forsdick.
“Asa Charlton might even be back for that one too, so we’re getting players back all the time.”
For the Ams, tonight’s clash is a vital fundraiser as they look to build on last season’s West Midlands League division two title win.
“It’s a massive game for us,” said chairman Dave Gregory. “It sets the tone for the season and brings in much-needed funds for our expansion plans.”
Assistant boss Ben Coates believes his side are equipped to give the Bucks a good game after eye-catching summer recruitment.
Coates and boss Mike Armstrong have persuaded Bridgnorth’s Lewis Welch and Nicky Guy and Mark Adamczyk, both of Shifnal, to drop two divisions from the Midland Alliance.
And that, combined with a £20,000 improvement programme at their ground over the last three years, signals a club going places.
“We’ve got better players than last year and we want to compete,” said Coates.
