The Shropshire Star is producing a special supplement this Saturday, June 28, which will feature the very best of this year’s prom season. Along the way we’ve been featuring some of your photos here online.

    It’s nice to see young people dressed up and smiling rather than slouching in tracksuit bottoms, hooded tops and scowling at everyone. Well done!

    However, I do not care for this American prom culture that has recently appeared in this country. Let’s celebrate in a British style rather than ape America.

    I guess British style would be to go out, have a fight, throw up in the street and get arrested.

    Much prefer to see the “american” prom culture than british “style”
