Telford’s support going up

bucks_logo2.gifAFC Telford United have sold more than 500 season tickets in the first three weeks of sales - a 44 per cent increase on the same period last season.Delighted club officials are now optimistic of beating last year’s record figure of more than 700 as the countdown to the new Blue Square North campaign begins in earnest.

Boss Rob Smith has made four big summer signings and, following last season’s impressive second place finish, there is real hope that a title challenge looms.

Chairman Lee Carter declared: “We are absolutely delighted. I knew there was a buzz about the place but this is tremendous.”

Carter has also announced an extension to the deadline for the purchase of season tickets at early bird prices.

Fans now have until 2pm on Saturday, July 5, in which to snap up their season tickets at discounted prices.

Great news, there is a real momentum happening at AFC Telford, great entertainment and facilities on the doorstep of 165,000 people.

Get down there and sample some “feelgood factor”

    Well done to all involved.
