Bucks boy Husbands on hold

Michael HusbandsStriker Michael Husbands is likely to have wait until the end of this month before learning whether he has a future at AFC Telford United.

The former Macclesfield frontman is the last remaining member of the squad which concluded last season who is yet to learn whether he remains part of the Bucks plans for 2008-09.

The waiting game is set to go on, with Husbands now involved in a World Cup qualifier double header for St Lucia against Guatemala.

“Michael’s been away and then went straight out on international duty so we haven’t had chance to see him,” said assistant manager Larry Chambers.

“We will arrange to see him when he returns.”
