Preece back in the game

Former Shrewsbury Town and Telford United player Roger Preece is back in football - for now.

Preece has agreed to oversee pre-season training at Shawbury United, although the West Midlands League premier division club have not yet officially appointed a manager.

Preece, who has had spells with Wrexham and Chester, spent last season with Cymru Alliance outfit Queens Park.

And he will be joined overseeing pre-season training by Alistair McHarrie, a former Chelsea apprentice who most recently in charge of Wolves Ladies.
