Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory will be at the Birmingham venue on June 22, in support of their fourth, critically acclaimed album, Seventh Tree.

Goldfrapp was formed in 1999, when film score composer Gregory hooked up with Goldfrapp, who had made her mark on earlier works by Orbital and Tricky.

They have released four albums Felt Mountain, Black Cherry, Supernature and Seventh Tree. Their biggest singles successes were with Ooh La La, A&E and Number 1 . . . which reached number nine.

Largely considered an electonic band, Goldfrapp’s sound has continually evolved over the past nine years, taking in ambient, electronica, disco, glam rock, folk, cabaret and classical. It adds up to a varied and unpredictable collage of sounds.

Goldfrapp’s new single, Caravan Girl, will be released on June 30.
