Pictures have started flooding in from some of the glitziest nights on Shropshire’s summer calendar of events.
It is prom season, with hundreds of youngsters across the county enjoying a night to remember to celebrate the end of their exams.
The Shropshire Star is hoping to record all the glamour and glittering fun to create a lasting memento of the Proms 2008.
Check out our photo gallery below
Girls are dressing to impress in gorgeous gowns while the boys have been donning smart tuxedos for a party with a difference.
Just like the students at the Grange School in Shrewsbury, who decided on a James Bond theme for a prom, held at the school, with guests arriving in limos and sports cars.
Dedicated teams organised decorations to fit in with the adventures of the superspy while teachers stepped in as official photographers to capture the evening’s stunning style.
Now we want other schools and students to send us their pictures of a night which is all about celebration and making lasting memories.
The Shropshire Star is producing a special supplement on June 28 which will feature the very best of this year’s prom season. Along the way we’ll be featuring some of your photos here online.
Send your pictures and stories to internet@shropshirestar.co.uk clearly marking them Prom 2008.
Please include the names of people on the photograph, the date and location of the prom and the school which has organised the event.
We would also like to hear any funny stories you may have from your prom night or your tips on organising the prom party of the year.
