A three-foot long corn snake has been stolen from a Powys home.
The female ’silver ghost’ snake was taken from a house in Llanerfyl on Friday afternoon. It is not poisonous.
Constable Bob Beaman, of Llanfyllin police, said: “The snake was taken from a house known as Pen Capel in Llanerfyl between noon and 7pm on June 6.
“We would like whoever has taken it to know that it could still cause an injury through its bite.”
Anybody with information is asked to contact Llanfyllin police on 0845 3302000.
